LENTICULAR HOMICIDE

greetings, 2025. what is new in the wide world of lenticular printing? and by lenticular, i mean 'Lentil Shaped', obviously. actually no i mean, one of those weird moving prints that feels like plastic and fish scales. honestly, i love them, i have many many good memories from the 1980's, seeing T-Rex attack the viewer via a lenticular sticker. that was our netflix.

so, to that end, i am gearing up to sell some old prints, old stickers via sticker packs (to fund the printing of new stickers, new prints, braces, eyeglasses, just general mayhem repair that comes from being in a family). and i thought, you know what would be cool? a LENTICULAR print (yes Google Spellcheck, its a real word).

so i researched it, made some calls, badda boom, here we are. first off, obviously its 18x24, why go smaller. second off, that's way too big, these things have to ship flat, did everyone know this??? so, i have no idea how these will turn out. hopefully cool.

sweet, snazzy. but again, to the point of the shipping, flat shipping is like $25 apiece and that sounds like a nightmare. i reached out to Joe at Bottleneck Gallery and he graciously offered to ship these, so that is awesome. might only have to ship 10, but still awesome.

and now the pitch: if you preorder one, i'll throw in this nifty little patch i am making, at least with the first 50 orders (i have to sell at least 60ish lentil prints to break even). so, you have THE CHANCE of getting a patch for free! nifty!

WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA BEHIND THESE??? well i'll tell you - i got three sons, and boy howdy, they like being outside, they like going for walks. i don't particularly love walking, i don't hate it, i just don't do it (clearly). but in my drive to connect with these kids, get in some good dad time, i figured we could get our walk on, talk about life - plus they got friends, they want more friends. so i am putting together a club that goes for walks at least once a month. my sons and their homies, and me, gandalf the former-ginger. i figure we need a patch to work towards, maybe five hikes and these boys earn a patch.

TO THE POINT - i figure hey, these things ain't free. maybe some one wants to buy one, which helps cover the ones i'm giving out to these kids. it ain't charity though, don't buy them if you don't need a cool werewolf patch. BP OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CLUB (bp standing for brush prairie, my hometown).

so yeah, i'll have these two things up in my store, taking preorders. patches are unlimited, can order as many as you want. lenticular print, its limited, edition of 300 (I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE DONE LESS BUT I GOT CARRIED AWAY). so the prints can currently sell out, the patches can't sell out today, but i'll place the order tonight and then there will be a limit, my guess, 100-200ish. fun. and remember, first 50 lenticular orders get a patch. but really, they'll all get a little something extra, just to make up for that awful 25$ shipping charge.

also, currently only shipping lenticulars in the USA. will get pricing for worldwide, but these preorders are just USA, my apologies.

if you do pre-order a patch, it can ship with sticker packs once those go up for sale, so you can request a refund on the shipping.  naturally these will take time to manufacture, so we appreciate your patience.
